Open to all: enter your flowers, fruit and veg in this lovely online show!

The Frensham and Dockenfield Horticultural Society cannot run their Spring Show in the Marindin Hall on Saturday 4th April as they usually would – but they have no intention of giving up their show, instead they’re holding an Online Spring Show!  This year there’s no trophies or prizes – the show is just for fun.  Frensham and Dockenfield Horticultural Society Online Spring Show is open to anybody who wants to participate, you don’t need to be a member of this society and you don’t have to be from Frensham, or even from Surrey; it’s open to all.  What a lovely idea!

If you’d like to enter, please send your photographs to – by Good Friday, 10th April 2020.  There are classes for flowers, fruit, and vegetables, (take a picture of your entry, either in situ, in a vase or on a plate) as well as flower arrangements.  Simply take photographs of your entries and email them to Ruth.  The photographs will be showcased on the Frensham and Dockenfield Horticultural Society website.  No judging will be taking place, nor any trophies awarded this year.  More details of the specific classes and how to enter photos are given on the FDHS website.

What a lovely idea!  We encourage you to enter and to visit the show online, on the 14th April 2020.

I hope this message finds you all safe and well.  Take care everyone.

Best wishes
