We are very grateful indeed to Sheri Sticpewich, who has kindly agreed to open her wonderful garden ‘Grattons’ in Dunsfold, exclusively for Surrey Horticultural Federation clubs and societies from 2.30pm until 4.30pm on Sunday 2nd July 2023!
On Wednesday Dunsfold had a burst water main and as a result part of the Dunsfold Common Road right next to the access road to Sheri’s house has been closed.
Thames Water has made getting to Grattons a bit more difficult but you can definitely access Sheri’s drive via the Dunsfold Common Road coming in the direction from the A281 or B2130 (from Godalming/Cranleigh). The Dunsfold Common Road is closed immediately after Sheri’s drive to Shoppe Hill Road, making access from Chiddingfold direction difficult.
If you’re coming from the Godalming/Cranleigh direction, please ignore the Road Closed signs posted at entrance into Dunsfold from B2130, as Grattons is the last accessible point. For those coming from the Chiddingfold side, you can either go the long way around via Shoppe Hill/Hookhouse Lane onto the B2130, although that road is narrow with few passing places.
There is plenty of parking in Sheri’s paddock (accessed via their drive). Please do NOT park on the Common outside their gates or drive across the Common.
