Delightful Daylilies – 6.30pm – 8pm – £4
An evening with two National Collection holders and experts on growing Hemerocallis, known as Daylilies.  John Baker and June Colley will tell us all about Daylilies – their origin, development, how to grow and propagate, plus illustrations of species in their natural habitat. June has explored the natural habitats of daylilies in the far east and her collection of Hemerocallis species, forms, varieties and interspecific hybrids is a National Collection. June and John maintain a garden in Hampshire with some 250 daylilies and their National Collection of Hostas (European and Asiatic)

Paula Dyason, of Strictly Daylilies in Cambridgeshire, will tell all about her National Collection of hybrids suitable for the UK climate. Strictly Daylilies is a 4 acre working nursery for trialling, sales and hybridization of new cultivars. There are dedicated display beds for the collection as well as an official American Hemerocallis Society display garden and an historic Daylily display garden. Paula is on the RHS forum for Hemerocallis AGMs.
