Hole Park gardens, in Kent, are well known for having a spectacular display of bluebells in April and early May. The native bluebells are entirely wild and appear in such density as a result of man’s coppicing of the woods over many centuries. Bluebells thrive in this, being able to flower and complete their lifecycle before the canopy closes in reducing dramatically the natural light reaching the woodland floor. Visitors can enjoy the amazing display of bluebells while taking the circular woodland walk; extending the walk along the stream side, the path goes through the equally attractive wild garlic, with its shimmering silver flowers and distinctive aroma. **THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED**

Sandhurst & District Gardening Club will leave Sandhurst at 8.30 am and leave Hole Park at about 4.00 pm. No picnics are allowed in the grounds but teas / light lunches available in the Coach House. COST: £26.00, payable in full by 18th March 2020 (club night).
