This friendly Society holds monthly meeting with informative talks, demonstrations, social gatherings and activities. Why not come along to meet others with similar interests, or share your knowledge?
On club nights, Ascot Horticultural Society hold optional mini competitions with the following classes for extra fun:
- Flowering pot plant
- Dish of Fruit
- Dish of vegetables
- Vase of flowers
- Foliage pot plant
Winners in each class are chosen by popular vote.
A flower competition entitled Flower of My Choice is judged by the visiting speaker/demonstrator.
Unless otherwise stated Ascot Horticultural Society’s monthly meetings take place on the second Wednesday of the month from 7.30pm until 10pm.
Ascot Horticultural Society hold their regular monthly evening meetings, including their Spring and Christmas Shows, at King Edward’s Hall, King Edward’s Road, North Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 8PD. All are welcome – both new members and visitors. Doors are open from 7.30pm; the meetings start at 7.45pm.
Entrance charges, which include light refreshments, are £1 for Ascot Horticultural Society members and £2.50 for visitors.
Annual membership of Ascot Horticultural Society is just £12 a year.
